Making Life Choices: Freedom

Let me tell you a short story about a girl who had been in a fight with herself. Choosing between her friends since it's the last time they'll be together and it's her best friend's birthday, or her family who didn't approve of the location they were going to.

In the end, she went with her friends anyway because she trusts them They enjoyed themselves and laughters were shared but despite all that, the girl was still a bit worried about what awaits her when she arrives home.

After a while, it was time for them to go home from the cold spring. While on her ride home, she was bracing herself for the unlimited nagging of her family but...after a while, a smile flashed across her face. Why? Because she knew it will all be worth it. She had the best time of her life and she knew she made the right decision. She was just over-thinking.

She went home and no one nagged her at all because she sticked to her promise that they will go home early. And that's no problem for her family at all because she's home safe and sound.

Sometimes, you don't have to play it safe.
Sometimes, you can just get out of your own little cocoon and spread your wings.
Sometimes, those things that worry you doesn't even exist.
Sometimes, you just have to let it go and never hold back.

It is okay to choose your own happiness for a while but sometimes, you need to have limits. Like the girl in the story, she didn't get nagged at because she still went home early. If we abuse that, then I believe things won't turn out pretty great, agreed?

What is freedom for you?
You might say freedom means
-Limitless
-Going beyond the border
-No restrictions

But you can only get that meaning in the dictionary or thesaurus. In real life, you can only achieve freedom if you have earned it. You can't be free when you've disobeyed the laws; you can't be free if you're in a nutshell; you can't be free if you keep on hiding...you can never be free if you isolated yourself from all the bright side in this world. You can never ever be free if you're facing the negative side. Turn around and be positive. Fun things in this world are limitless.

When you're making life choices, always consider these things:
Will  it be worth it?
Will I be happy in the end?
What will this cost me?

and most importantly

Never forget that people will get affected with your decisions, too.

Don't fuss about what the perfect decision will be. Because honestly, in whatever decision you'll do, it will never be perfect. Yes, some will be unforgettable but they are unforgettable because ALL THE ENJOYABLE THINGS IN LIFE ARE ACTUALLY UNPLANNED.

This is life. We can never know how our life story goes until our very last day of existence. Make every road you take unforgettable and make every page of your life full of laughter. You can never know how our own very lives can inspire millions.

Goodnight.

It's almost 2am and my mind is filled with reasons why I couldn't sleep. I couldn't sleep ... because when you've said your last "goodnight" for today, I wondered if you'll ever need me for the next couple of hours. What if you couldn't sleep, or have been woken up from a nightmare, and I wouldn't be there to tell you that everything's going to be alright? Tell me what's bothering you at 3am and I will talk to you until you fall asleep. And by then I'll bid you Goodnight. I couldn't sleep ... because when I look at the ceiling, I'd wish that by the time I look beside me, I can see you, and not this pillow missing the warmth of your skin. And maybe by then we wouldn't need to have our phone in our hands, because I would intertwine your fingers with mine, and they'd fit perfectly, almost as if it's meant to be. And we'll look at each other's eyes Not on our phones Because we wouldn't have ...

Some Alone Time

This blog has been mostly about positive outlooks in life and the future, but allow me to give you a little gray cloud on a sunny day. For the past few weeks, my family has been asking me about my depression. They'd ask how can I still not get over my parent's death ( read about it   here ). How can I if that triggered my depression on? I know they're worried, they told me that they give me the things I need... but then I thought... I don't need material things, I just need them to understand. When they inquire me what's really happening inside my nutshell, I'd just look down and tell them that it's not easy to define, and I told them that I'll just express all of it to my psychiatrist. But today, I decided to write all about it. I know that the negativity of this post isn’t decent, but at least hear me out. 3 years ago, a year after my mom died, I understood my father’s constant drinking of alcoholic beverages, and I also understood all his s...

"You have to work hard to achieve your goal." The most cliche line that people would say to motivate you. But honestly, the only one that can motivate you is yourself...Well unless you're at school and there's a certain activity where you look at your best friend and say "I'll join if you join." Agree? I started with this article without a title because i gotta be honest with you guys...I am in a conflict with myself about what to write about next, so I really need your help. Be open, tell me what you want me to write about and I'll try my best to write about it. You can ask me for help and I will rack my brain just to find the perfect advice for you because I wanna be someone who you can lean on and someone that you're not afraid to tell all your problems to I want to be that someone that you can actually call a friend because in my past, I needed someone that I could lean on because I was alone and I don't want anybody to experience tha...
